My 10-year old son got one of these dolls from his aunt, and I didn't think he would love it because he is not the type of kid who plays with dolls but he actually sleeps with it. He would've never picked this doll himself but since it was a gift from someone dear to him, it has meaning. It really makes a special gift for a niece or nephew, a grandchild, and/ or a godchild.
