Our Story
At Red & Olive, we are a stepmom-and-daughter duo, united not just by family but also by a shared heritage and vision. Lita was born in Peru, and Destiny proudly carries the legacy of her Peruvian parents. Together, we set out to create a children’s brand that does more than bring joy—we aim to spark imaginative play, foster emotional and verbal growth, and provide comfort for children everywhere. Our deep connection to Peru and its rich traditions inspires everything we do. Each of our products is handcrafted by talented artisans who infuse their love, skill, and cultural heritage into every stitch. These artisans are more than partners; they are our extended family. We are honored to know each knitter personally and to witness their artistry and dedication firsthand. Together, we collaborate with 5 to 10 families, ensuring every product is made with care, respect, and love. Our mission goes beyond creating beautiful, timeless toys. We strive to empower the families we work with, providing sustainable opportunities that help break the cycle of poverty. By offering fair wages and consistent work, we aim to uplift communities and inspire future generations of artisans to reach for the stars.
